All my packages include advice on appropriate book size, typesetting from edited text file, reprographics on any images supplied, three PDF proofs for checking, taking in the corrections from a marked PDF file, a revised proof for final checks, prelims, end matter and setting index, final minor corrections and a final file in the format requested.
I can work on any subject matter, with experience in setting everything from Chaucer and Shakespeare to education and fiction titles.

The creation of a book cover unique to your title. I’ll read your synopsis and work with you on a bespoke design for your title. All covers come with 4 sample designs to select from and 4 proof stages of the selected design. I can provide ebook covers, paperback and hardback covers, series designs, dust jackets, box set, audiobook covers, plus marketing material such as 3D covers.

Complete a bespoke Q&A and send over your cover ideas. I’ll review your cover brief offering advice on legibility, fonts, design and image selection or provide a short list of artists whom you can approach in a written report so you can take it to the next level or you can do it yourself.
Cost is deductible from my cover design if you’d like me to continue the work with me.

Author websites. I can create a Squarespace website alongside your book design so you can get selling whilst your book is bring printed or created. Use a landing page to collect pre-publication orders or build more pages to share extract. Managing print including KDP, Ingram Spark and litho or digital print. We can work on the print quotes. If your files are in Adobe Indesign then I can help you with loading to print too.
Author promotional packages, I can create your website ready for pre-orders and post publication orders, social media graphics, crowdfunding visuals and book launch material, and create your website so you don’t have to commission and manage more than one creative.
An outline of the big milestones that will get your project from an idea to a beautiful document in your hand (and yes, you can sniff the ink, I do!) Each project will vary, but these are the three main stages we’ll collaborate on together.
A Zoom call to check we're a good match and I'll ask you to talk about what you need and make a few notes. You can send me your ideas and we'll agree schedule and prices.
Once we've agreed the design points, I'll send over the concept designs for selection. I'll ask for your edited text and images and start to creat. PDF proofs will arrive for you to mark-up.
Once we reach the final stage, I'll ask you to approve formally, then the print or digital files are supplied to you or the third party. If we need to make alts, then we can talk about this too.

Yes, that’s fine. All the packages are for guidance and we can chat about what you need and also explore ways to reduce the proof stages if budget is an issue for you.
Yes, providing that you have permission from the previous or current creator to move the project. It will also depend on file types and fonts and if I can access them. We can chat about this more.
